  1. Max works well with McMann & Nylander – first line with Knies looks good and Patches with Tavares is good – Lorentz is great on the fourth line. what more could you ask from your forwards – OEL has been leading ice time past 2 games and looks really good , Tanev & Rielly look good together OEL & McCabe are actually good together – for the longest time we had make shift D but with the new players the D look good for once. and man Stolarz is looking amazing, im happy with this team.

  2. Domi has chemistry with Papi and now he has chemistry with Willy. Maybe it's time to consider the fact that Domi is an excellent player?

  3. 1: Knies, Mathews, Marner
    2: McMann, domi, nylander
    3: Robertson, Tavares, patches
    4: Lorentz, Kampf, Holmberg

If Tavares goes up to 2C and then Holmberg at 3C with Robertson and patches on the sides
Which would slot McMann at 4th line winger
    Whatever works

  4. It’s great to see the Leafs win against teams they should beat… that hasn’t always happened the last 8 years.

  5. They do seem to be playing with alot more structure which I am here for, but again, it's been 4 games and they haven't played great teams yet, but they don't seem to play down to teams anymore.

  6. Lets hope that Ekman-Larsson stays healthy. If he does, he will be an asset on PP for Leafs. On top of everything else.

I also thump up 👍 for JD . Like his ( positive) approach on Leafs' chances on having a succesful season. Also in Play Offs.

Leafs' fans and podcasters often IS very critical, too critical.

Before anything bad has happened. Or the guy on the radar has been able to show his skills or value added to The team.

Well, 24 disppointing years without major access explaines it.

    But still…come on. Cheer up.

Skip the desperationand misbelief , let the positivity in.

As difficult it sounds. To most of you guys.

  7. What would the "it's way too early" detractors rather be rather be talking about? The despairing old narrative about past disappointment. It's not too early to focus on some way-too-long-coming improvements, and not just in one area. How are the multiple goaltending options alone, not better than what they had in Samsonov as the lone go-to guy? Of course, a couple of their top D being injured could be problematic, but that is true of any team. And they've not had this kind of depth in their forward group, throughout 4 lines, in a long, long time. And Berube doesn't seem likely to let it all be wasted with intensity-lacking efforts. If that is not indisputably a better situation, I'm not sure what is — short of magically finding a Norris candidate, and let's face it, such guys are not realistically going to become available. Could it ALL be a mirage? Doesn't seem likely.
