Jared Goff put some respec on his name!
I will admit, when the Stafford trade happened I viewed Jared as being a throw in because at the time he was struggling and had a huge contract.
I don’t know how anyone can be a doubter anymore.
There isn’t a QB in the league that’s playing better than JG right now.
"But he's not mobile though" I think what the problem is we have gotten used to seeing the Michael Vick's the Russell Wilson's the Patrick mahomes and we have forgotten what a real quarterback looks like it has been said that Goff is the last of the old school quarterbacks and when they say old school they mean quarterbacks who throws first and scramble second ,scrambling is not something that was recently invented in football it has always been part of a quarterback's job to do but now we're seeing more quarterbacks relying more on their legs than on their ability to throw the ball, in the game against Minnesota and I believe in the game against the cowboys we saw Jared Goff scrambling and I'll say he has shown us more of it this year than last year.
There is tape on Jared on YouTube called 60 minutes of Jared Goff it features him from the time he was drafted with the Rams all the way up to his time with the lions in 2023, like so many others I used to believe that he could not or did not know how to scramble, watching that video help me to appreciate that Jared Goff is a mobile quarterback in that film we see him QB sneaking picking up first downs the whole nine I recommend looking that up for those who feel that Jared Goff is not a mobile quarterback but the point is Jared Goff is mobile he's just not what the modern definition of what a mobile quarterback is today.
Jared should be the MVP front runner right now. Unfortunately, the voters and Vegas think Goff is going to fall off and they are in love with the flashy QBs like Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.
