After losing Cole S. To Vegas on waivers, we are very low on Centers in the organization, especially right-shot ones. I doubt we'll see a widely known center coming Calgary's way in a trade. I think we're more likely to see someone like Sharon or Bahl get traded to YYC
CJ is absolutely right on Cale Makar. Watching him for the first week or so, he's not been great on defense. Better in the last 2 games but thats against the sharks and ducks.
I was thinking maybe Nashville needs a flip and a change up in their lineup and Calgary is a fit to do that. Calgary could aim for 23 yr old right shot centre player Philip Tomasino. Nashville Preds have him listed as a centre playing as a right winger. Calgary could convert him into a centre player that fits. Was a healthy scratch in his last game.
