Leafs haven’t done that in a long while, so I’d recommend shutting the fuck up about how great the laffs are when they’re just gonna crash and burn like always. This team just feels different compared to previous years. Yeah the leafs were good and would shell teams but not like this. They would get a good lead and still spend half a period being hemmed in their own zone. That hasn't been happening yet, quite the opposite actually. Years of battered leafs fan syndrome taught me not to get hyped but I want to be hyped. And can we talk about Spicy OEL?? Omg that guy got greasy and I am all for it.

This had to be the best game I’ve been to for a longggggg time, GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT!!! On top of that (broadcast definitely didn’t hear) but the crowd very much chanted “WHERE IS STAMKOS” multiple times throughout the game

Edmonton fan who cheers for Leafs here. Was at the game with my dad, hearing the cheers of ‘Where is Stamkos?’ Was probably the funniest thing I’ve ever seen at a hockey game.

You're old enough to consider this now Steve. To many breakfast sausages and Wendy's burgers? I told my brother "there's something different about you now, have you checked your blood pressure numbers?" He said "no, leave it alone." Two months later he had a blown out eye and a apparently weak vein in the back of his neck didn't fair too well either. When he finally awoke he was pretty close to paralyzed. Three years later he could stand once in a while. People think they are enthusiastic about something in a moment when actually they are reacting to a sudden jump in their blood pressure. Everyone should be aware of this.
