Tampa lost their last 2 games before tonight, it was never going to be an easy game. That said, this is now their second loss in a row, and they somehow did worse tonight. If you're a serious fan you know it's far too early to say if the season's cooked, but you also know these are the same Devils as last year we're seeing in some of these games, even with the new additions. All eyes on this next game against Detroit, at this point it may be a must win or else alarms might start to go off. I'm hopeful a healthy Pesce and Luke will bring balance to this defense.
When Pesce and Luke return I think Siegenthaler – Hamilton needs to come back, and Dillon needs to be on the 3rd pairing with nemec or kovacevic. Dillon – Hamilton has been absolutely atrocious in all of our games against the playoff tier teams. Hopefully Jake Allen's horrific game is a one off. Not alot of positives but at least Jack and Timo looked great tonight. Siegs performance has been night and day compared to last year, and Kovacevic has been a decent surprise.
It's wittle Markys night off, he can't play 5mins. & 1 period AND GUESS WHAT STILL NOT PLAY TOMORROW! Holy Hell, 🗑excuse fat Queefe… Markstrom should have never had the night off tonight he should have played then had off against DET who is the weaker out of DET/NYI b2b. -This Devils organization is making too many mistakes that are no brainers. -You play Marky tonight or PULL The Goalie who lets 5 in 1 period, PERIOD💯

Defense and goaltending are still a joke. They’re not going anywhere. Don’t like the Keefe hire either.

This has been their pattern for years. Horrible at home.
Glad to see keefe have some passion. This team needs discipline and structure and I think Keefe can make it happen
