I know it was the 2nd of a back to back with travel, but that was a bit embarrassing. Hildy was horrendous but so was everyone else out there so it didn't really matter.
Leafs suck and I am not going to watch another game the rest of the season. Time to get a life! Hope Leafs do better! Merry Christmas everyone here!

I don't remember seeing a goalie so big as the Leafs' goalie look so small between the pipes, while the team in front of him tries to break records in defensive breakdowns.

This is EXACTLY why this current iteration of the Toronto Maple Leafs will never ever win their division. They never keep their foot on the gas. They have this deeply ingrained sense of complacency. Like they earned themselves a night where they can play half ass. I’ve been seeing and saying it for years.

Get this: I currently live in Europe so it's not often I see the games live, so what I often do is watch the highlight that Sportsnet puts up surprisingly quickly. I typed NHL highlights, but the algorithm did not show me the most recent TOR vs CBJ highlights? Could the algorithm be SOOOO advanced that it knew I would't want to see the highlights?? lolll isn't that wild?!??! I had to manually track down the game, it was literally difficult to find!! Could be coincidence, I just thnk its a bit strange lol

Most cup winning teams Captain isn't the best player. They are a player with the will to give everything they can to win. Mathews an Tavares don't have those characteristics. The only Captain material on this team is Tanev and a too young Knies. ZERO emotion from the big 5 ever unless they are getting a personal accomplishment. Lorentz is the only bottom 6 guy that has been noticeable so far. JT cannot drive a line and will look worse # wise as the season progresses.
I feel like I'm watching a wrestling fan freak out over their favorite wrestler being scripted to lose – same thing, different sport. Relax.
Not too angry about the Buds losing this game against Columbus. Quite frankly I'd be okay with them losing every single game this season to Columbus. Except for if they're in the playoffs. I was watching the game yesterday with my wife and she turned to me and said " I dont mind them losing games to Columbus" they need the wins! 😢 RIP Johnny Hockey 🏒
