  1. I absolutely love these clean awesome hits by Truba and watching the soft Canadians and stupid hockey fans complain it was a dirty hit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  2. Im a habs fan, and it's sad to see but Barron is not near NHL ready, the game is too fast for him. Clean hit

  3. Trouba doesn't belong in the league. He's only out there to hurt players. Watch Barrons heads snap back, clear head contact, please suspended him…

  4. This young NHL season has a slight Roller Ball feel. All these borderline hits, trying to get the ratings up????

  5. This is such a clean hit. Barron never once looked up and trouba delivered this hit with his elbow and feet down, through the body. Shocked how many people can disagree. Beardless boys

  6. Show a goddamn angle where we can see the contact ffs. There are 50 cameras all over the plafe and they keep showing this one garbage angle.

  7. I hate the Habs but you never enjoy witnessing a guy in rough shape like that. Get well Justin

  8. Let's try and get some nuance here. Yes, this 100% a check to the head. Primary contact with Trouba's shoulder is the head. However, Trouba isn't head hunting. He isn't charging. His elbow is firmly tucked in. He simply makes a defensive play, using his stick for gap control while skating backwards, sees an opening to make a check and steps up. The entire time Trouba is steady in posture, he doesn't elevate or raise his body. Barron isn't aware of surroundings and his head is low and skates straight into Troubas shoulder. The real concern is Barron as he smashes his head on the ice after the collision. Concussion for sure. One can argue that this is a dangerous bad hit, with consequences. But open ice hits are allowed in the NHL, and Trouba delivers a textbook clean check. I hope Barron recovers, concussions are the worst.

  9. The horror of this is the ref giving Matheson an instigating…You don’t make calls, expect the players to get their own Justice.

  10. Gotta keep your head up, trouba did target the chest and Barron bent down at last second so it was shoulder to head.. unfortunate but still clean since Barron lowered his head

  11. The hit would've been legal if he wasn't using his elbow high at Barron face , you are supposed to use your shoulder and not aiming for the head

  12. How are these Trouba hits legal , he throws himself into the player, that is why it is so dirty!
You can hit a player but you can NOT jump into them which if you watch closely in slow play Trouba does on almost every hit!
This is not wrestling, that is NOT a body check!
That is the flying forearm of the old WWF days!

  13. So far this season it's starting to show we need more than a Coach who speaks in Paraphrases and Meataphores

  14. Players do not know how to anticipate or avoid a hit, let alone take one anymore. Then we have fights over a clean hit.

  15. Habs fan here and I think this is a great hit from Trouba. If it wasn't of his history of bad hits, it wouldn't be so controversial. But this hit was clean, Trouba's foot didn't leave the ice before the hit and Barron put himself in a bad position by lowerring down his body.

  16. Maybe one day the ancient Trouba debate (referred by our elders as the Scott Stevens dilemma) will end, when people admit to themselves that a "clean hit" by the rules can still be very dangerous. And, I suppose a solution can be reached from that agreement if it is further agreed upon that such unnecessary danger to players is a problem. There's surely a dozen arguments and counterarguments to why or why not laying someone out is good for the game itself. But in the end, I don't want to lose another Paul Kariya, Eric Lindros, Pat Lafontaine, Keither Primeau – the list goes on – to concussions because someone has decided to 'legally assault' them for looking the other way. It's just not worth it.

  17. As a Rangers fan I didn't see any point in the hit at this point in the game but get used to it this season. Trouba is going to play angry this year after the organization tried to get rid of him.

  18. I def don’t like seeing a young player get hurt but you gotta keep your head up and also recognize who’s on the ice for opposing team.
