    their getting there could be worse preds finally got their first win tonight with all their new additions and talent they got their fans are probably celebrating like they won the Stanley cup from just 1 win this season so as far as the redwings slow start relax people holy💩🤷‍♂️🫤

    Usually, 1-0 wins are the most exciting things in hockey (or baseball), but yeah, this was kinda boring.

    Unless you're also a baseball fan, in which case it's like a pitcher's duel.

    Alex Lyon and the Islanders defense were both unbelievably good last night.

    This is a sport where you only score 8% of the time, so 1 goal on 10 shots (10%) is actually pretty dang good.

    All in all, it's important to remember two things:

    1. WE WON. It may not have been an exciting win, but it's a win nonetheless.

    2. It's only October 23! There are still SEVENTY-SIX games left in the regular season!

    Lyon won that game. Lalonde sucks and been saying it for months. He can’t make a proper def line with 8 options. Put Holl on left side lol. Bench Johansson. Gus struggling from stuck on right side. Petry on second line instead of third line. Holl on the ice at all lol. I’m just a nobody fan and can create better lines than Lalonde. All that said. Look at detroits forwards. Maybe not a top 5 offense but 10 shots lol. Raymond Larkin cat tarasenko Kane and now with kasper and berg. Wtf did u do Lalonde. Def first don’t shoot the puck. Lucky win but nice goal by Kane and shutout by Lyon.

    This was a very hard game to watch lol. The league should penalize the Islanders for how they play. This is suppose to be entertainment. I’d blow my brains out if I had to watch them on a nightly basis.

    I love how comment sections churn out the same phrases over and over without anyone actually knowing what they’re talking about. “Clean up the details”, etc. what exactly do you mean? Articulate your point! “We’ve got to play better team defense.” How, exactly? What do you propose?

    This was the most EA Ice Tilt ass game. Lyon stole 2 for us. The defense was actually serviceable, which is a good change of pace, but it cost us every ounce of offense. Something's gonna need to charge and fast because this isn’t a win you're gonna be able to duplicate anytime soon.

    6:45 minutes of "Highlights"…. that shows how brutal that game was lol.. but still Awood succeeded to make it just like if the game was'nt awful while it truly was… 😅 Insane work man I can't imagine how hard that was to make it an interesting show but you did it !

    How did you manage to find almost 7 minutes of "highlights" from this game. It was the most boring 60 minutes of hockey i've ever seen.

    I dont know what the Wings puck possession time was, but it couldn't have been more than 3 minutes. This was a terrible embarrassment for everyone except Lyons

    Boy does Mo look good with that A on his chest. I like how him and Ray have split time wearing the A's so far. Next season they will be permanent

    This coaching staff has to go…I’m still hoping to be wrong but I cannot see a world in which this strategy ever wins consistently in the NHL.

    Look at Edmonton last year (not talent-wise obviously): they were terrible defensively for a few years, yet a change in coaching and defensive structure/philosophy changed everything for them on that end.
