On the contrary Chris, I feel like those first two Annunen appearances made us forget about how good he was last season. The reaction to those two relief games was so very knee-jerk, not only by fans, but by media members.

At minimum annunen's performance should at least get georgiev's attention. And in which case he could rise to the occasion or fall off. And annunen becomes the starter.

I have always been an Annunen fan. I have been saying he needs more time between the pipes. How else can he get better and show what he can do.

Avs had a good game overall. We need a goalie to withstand a barrage in the first since our team historically starts off slow almost every game.
I like that they fought harder against the boards and didn't let up after the latter half of the first.
We get hemmed in our own zone way too often still.
The amount of Avs players standing around the puck, unable to do anything with it right before the Kraken scored their first goal was comically depressing.

Georgie is not a starter. Minus the playoffs his numbers were below .900 all season last year and Avs won games in spite of him. It’s time to move on. Give juice the net.

I feel a little bit for Georgiev in that the defense has been much, much better in front of Annunen. He faced two high danger shots. That has not been the case for Georgie. Nevertheless, Annunen looks great in his positioning and all-around confidence and he is definitely earning more starts.

Two games do not make a summer. If he plays like that against the top teams and after 42 games, I will jump on that train. Georgiev had more than 2 good games in a row since he started for the Avs, but that is Georgiev – he can win 10 games without getting a goal and then he lets in 2 and he will get crucified. Why not sending a message to McFlushy: Fire Georgiev now, Annunen is the best goalie on the face of the earth. Give me a break. This show should be renamed ScrewGeorgiev.
The practice facility at S Suburban is homey. Nice to take a break from work, have lunch at the Grill, and see some practice. Once in a while it gets a little rowdy with the kids downstairs, but so what? It's about 1/20th as loud as a Chuck E Cheese place.
The difference between Georgiev and Annunen , is Alex reacts to the puck Justus reads the play ,,, I said it at the start of the season Georgiev won’t be here next year good or bad, so play Justus more and play Kahkonen and Georgiev as back ups ,,, let’s say you have 4 games Justus plays 2 and the other 2 play 1 each for now, till you have enough of a sample size,,, PS Justus had bad games but it was coming in mid game ,,, we keep forgetting that Georgiev did this all of last year , he kept winning cause the team kept coming back , his save % was terrible
