Not sure Patrick, but gotta try something. Team doesn't seem to have chemistry right now i am sure it will come. I know it seems early to have real concern , but the season goes by fast. LETS GO BOYS !
Current PP not at the level of past seasons. Limit any combination to 1 minute unless they are close to scoring. Still too many predictable passes when shots with possible rebound could be more effective. Still have faith the boys will turn this around. Thanks for the update Patrick

Switching lines is fine but shouldnt mess with what works. Henrique, brown and skinner should have not been split up last game or in the near future. You got a line that can shut down other teams top lines and put pucks in the net. Not bad for a 3rd line
They're looking better, but its coming slow, kinda' like molasses in January. Let's Go Oilers, turn the heat up a notch or two!

Thx Patrick for the new Infos. From my point of view, the Powerplay starts to move at the game, looked much better in passing and moving, great combination to McD's goal. Only problem is, no new moving by passing to Drai! No alternative positioning as Drai goes into the slot and Bouchard missed always the target by far. If you aren't able to play for your best shooters on Powerplay it is a staff problem. Opponent lines definitely close the combination McD to Drai effectively. The solution isn't to take both out of the Powerplay, the solution has to be finding a new way in combination and movement to give them the shot again!!! Way could be like McD's second goal. And to bring Hyman more into the passing, perhaps being the goal. Changing the lines shows me that the staff haven't done what they said concerning the Draisaitl line up. He is able to pass from positions and situations nobody believes it and so both wings are always not ready when the puck comes to them. That makes the line being ineffective. Best example McD's goal in Powerplay. He knows that Drai will do the pass and scores. Blind believing, new moving. I believe in the formation to 100%. You have to give them back the feeling for the passing, nothing more. A big problem is defense. Both defenders behind the goal isn't the right positioning!!! Slot uncontrolled follows and a goal against us. This problem has to be solved, otherwise we have to score more goals. Cheers from Germany, I believe in the team and go on supporting!!!
I would give Brown Henrique Janmark a shot on the pp they can force the other team to make mistakes as they did in the play offs 🤔
If they continue to struggle do we see Joel Queeneville? Seems coaching changes are the only way to get them motivated!

Been up against some great goaltending too. Like to see McDavid shoot more. That also goes for everyone else. Shoot whenever you get a chance. Right now, it seems like they're making one pass too many. Maybe the power play has become too predictable. Everyone knows they'll be going for that one-timer from Draisaitl.
Skinner arviddson and draisaitl on PP one may get some chemistry going between them/that line
Is it possible that Kane is a bigger piece of this lineup than we thought?
