  1. I have been a Flyers fan for decades. Of course, like every fan, I'd love to see them win and do great; however, whether or not they are doing great, doing bad, slow start, or however everyone seems to see it, I will always support this team. It is funny how people love to hate them when they are doing bad, then turn right around and love them when they are doing good. I'm hopeful that they will start to pick up and I feel they will. No matter what everyone thinks or says, I am here to stay. I also think that there are other things that not many seem to talk about that goes into reasons why this team may have difficulties and this has nothing to do with the players themselves. Enough said, I just wanted to say that I wish real fans would be just that – stick through thick and thin and not when it is just on an upswing. LOVE THE FLYERS!

  2. Al Morganti made an interesting point on his podcast. He said Torts was very happy after camp with the team, but Danny Briere wasn't. Danny said it looked like some of the veteran players seemed lagging and didn't come into camp prepared.

  3. The Flyers have lacked effort this season in my opinion. Weak back checking and forechecking is all effort related.

  4. I’m a Leafs fan but watch the Flyers closely as I really like the young MN guys and the process, the team building. You can watch Brink in Philly or Knies in TOR. These guys worked a ton in the offseason to get better. The young guys are flying all over the ice but the in game play does look disjointed. Lots of sloppy play and turnovers at in opportune times. There’s still time, just a rough start.

  5. Zamula had a good week last season on pp2 and has been a fixture ever since I don't understand these lineups ever.

  6. there should be one goal this season, develop #39. Forget the win/loss results, developing #39 is your primary goal.
What the Flyers organization is terrible at is developing talent. What are the Flyers great at? quitting on young talent.
