  1. Cossa has never been off track. He was seen as needing more work than someone like a Wallstedt but had great tools that gave him a higher ceiling. He's made steady progress. He has a slow start with each new league and quickly progresses to handling it well. <important conditional>If his track record continues </important conditional>, he'll be ready for backup work next season and could be pushing for shouldering starter work in year two.

  2. Hard to argue with who is in the top five. Danielson deserves some love, but I'm not sure how to fit him in. Kasper is making me question if everyone's stated ceiling for him might've been a little low which then puts him in contention with Danielson. Augustine might be the one to drop if you HAD to find a place for Danielson, but he's been doing so well at MSU and for Team USA that it is hard to deny him as well. Maybe MBN? But he seemed on par with Danielson in preseason.

I do think ASP is the most exciting prospect even if not the top, though. He makes magic happen, and he will stop the madness with the Ghost Bear / Gustafsson saga hopefully.

  3. I really hope to see an in-depth dive into ASP's game after his season is done in Skelleftia. The kid has all the potential in the world. He is just so exciting to watch. He's so silky. Like I'm just as hyped about him as I was for Mo Seider.

  4. The way the Detroit prospect pool has been so boisterously overrated by hockey editors should be studied. It's beginning to feel like marketing.
