Overall much better game from the Leafs. It ought to silence some Mitch Marner haters too, but it probably wont because haters have a tendency to be brain dead and resist any actual evidence. The Matthews flub in OT had me laughing, and I'm a Leafs fan, but it was just too funny not to laugh. Like what are you doin mate?

Marchand missing the open net to ice it gifted Matthews the chance to tie it and get the Leafs a point….Matthews with the horrible turnover in O.T. gifted Marchand the chance to get the 2 points back…wouldn't be surprised if one of these teams misses the playoffs this year….Hopefully not Boston 🙂
