I am hyped for guys like Hutson and Tourigny, but when I see forwards like Slaf who are absolutely huge and fast, I remember to tamper my expectations for them.
That being said, god damn it I actually think we made the right pick. Slaf could bust, but the more time passes the more I’m convinced Slaf has by far the highest ceiling in this draft. It’s a risk, but he seems like the guy who just never stops improving. Let’s hope it all works out and we (finally) have an actual offensive core with Slaf-Suzuki-Caufield

Looking at how Slaf Senior is built, I think Junior could probably still keep going up a good 5-10 lbs without too much issues.
Having a large frame helps adding good weight without sacrificing too much on mobility & agility. Compare it to, say, a 6-4 guy like Dach who’s much narrower and will probably never go above 210, 215.
