Pretty good period from the Leafs prospects.
I watched the Columbus Detroit game yesterday and the Johnson – Marchenko – Dumais line with Jiricek – Mateychuk were dominant.
Haven’t noticed them too much beyond the powerplay which is a sign they’re being well defended.

Glad to see Steeves on the board. I think he has the potential to play significant games with the Leafs this year.
I wonder if it’s a bigger bag of lifesavers than the one from the St Louis game or if it’s the same size and tied for biggest bag.
I liked that second period, was hoping we could take advantage of CBJ’s goalie coming in cold but considering the high picks Columbus has on that roster, I’m pleased to have kept them under control like that. Wonder if we see a spicier third period after the way the second ended.
