[Hartnell: “I’ve spent half my life in the States. Love the USA. My wife is American, my kids are American, and I just wanted to follow the crew.” #Flyers](https://twitter.com/broadstbull/status/1570769941976190976?s=46&t=h46ozT7shsJ-JVpJ7PuzfQ)
I see his kids all got his wife’s hair color.
Welcome to the shit show Hartsy.
Scotty we need you to help end this reign of shinny hockey we’re being subjected to here 🧡
One the most entertaining and beloved Flyers this century. This team could so badly use guys like him.
An underrated awful move by Hextall was his 1st move being moving fan favorite Hartnell for Umberger and a 4th which was negative value. Hartnell was eventually bought out but had 2 really good years left and Umberger needed to be bought out too b/c he was an ECHL level player at this point.
Hextall said Umberger brought speed which we need but clearly hadnt watched him in a long time b/c Umberger was one of worst skaters in players in league at that point.
Hextall apparently also didnt shop Hextall around. CBJ just asked him about him and made a trade with them. Hartnell at the time had good value and we got back legitimately negative value.
Hextall was just so desperate to get picks and get rid of contracts
One of my favorite Flyers ever. Not the most talented dude on the team, but still really good, tough, and fully represented Philly.
Hell yeah congrats Hartsy!
Hartell? Did they Staten Islandize his surname?
Didn’t recognize him standing up. #HartnellDown
