Tell me how to feel about this contract, non Canucks fans 😅

A year or two more than I’d want, but the guy produces and the price is good. Not familiar with the Canucks cap situation, but all things being equal I’d be happy.

8 million a year at 29 will keep him there until he retires or someone decides it’s a bad contract to ship off to Arizona or Chicago.

I’m happy that JT Miller got paid

Good contract for the first three, bad contract for the last four.

At least the worst case scenario, Miller walking at the end of the year, has been averted.

It’s a good deal. But canucks are a middling team still. Not a cup contender… Was expecting Rutherford to make some bold trades. But honestly, im just happy Benning is no longer putting more paper over the dumpster fire he and Mike Gillis created.

Happy for him. Great player. Look at the other players making similar money, JT definitely belongs in that caliber of pay. The term is where this could end poorly but hey that’s the next GM’s problem

He’s the heart and soul of the team and is a guy that can win playoff series. I’m glad he made the money and I think it’s a good move for the Canucks because they’d be far less of a team without him and the young core is strong enough they should avoid a rebuild.
