Noone get your hopes up. Doubt we do anything actively exciting. It’ll likely all be underwhelming signings that aren’t part of the long term core.
I’m just interested in seeing who we sign to reach the cap floor lol
Manson sticking with Colorado for 4×4.5
Inb4 everyone gets mad we don’t sign any « big » names
Jeff Marek: Expect Verbeek to be « frisky’
I think it’s time to explore a short term relationship with Phil the Thrill. 2 years for 6-7m + a private tunnel from Honda Center to Portillos in Buena Park.
Rip Ilya dreams
I’m honestly curious how Verbeek is going to get to the cap floor. I know we’ll get some dumps, but we also need bodies to fill out the roster. I’m not expecting any big names, but I’m hoping we get at least 1 player who can play with Zegras
Frank Vatrano, 3 years at $3.65M per year per Friedman
🚨ANA signs Frank Vatrano 3x$3.65M🚨
After the Vatrano signing, we still have 14.2M to spend to reach the cap floor haha
Personally I vibe with the Vatrano signing. Haha
Gotta keep in mind we also owe new contracts to our RFAs, so that has to be accounted for as we’re signing UFAs from the market to reach the cap floor. Lundestrom, Vaakaneinen, Benoit, and OEE will all account for some $, with Lundy and likely Vaak accounting for the brunt of it (albeit still not likely much).
Definitely not going all-in on anyone this year.
I know shits going to go down as soon as I leave the office
🚨🚨Seravalli: Hearing #NHLDucks have agreed to terms with Glenn Gawdin on a 2-year deal that includes a one-way contract in 2023-24.
He was heavily sought after (20+ teams) as one of top scorers in AHL last season, maybe a player ready to pop in NHL?🚨🚨
25 year old, 6’1” right handed center with one point in 9 career NHL games. 50 points in 62 AHL games last season.
Jagr. Let’s do it
Perron to Wings, they’re putting together a good team
So long Vin Letteri
Kinda strange our social media has been silent all day. Between FAs and the development camp starting, you would think they would post something.
Don’t know what defines « serious interest » but Stephens says « Ducks have serious interest in Palat, but so do several other teams »
Vatrano: Anaheim was one of the first teams to call. For me, it was kind of a no-brainer…I’m excited to be a part of the future with the Ducks.
Vatrano: The pieces are there. It takes time to figure things out, but Anaheim has done a great job drafting. The future is very bright in Anaheim.
LOL WHY IS GADREAU GOING TO CBJ? PER FRIEDMAN
« ‘I’m told one team to watch on both Ondrej Palat & Ryan Strome is .. the Anaheim Ducks. »
[Looks like he’s right about worth what we’re paying — and he won’t hold up negotiations for Z/Drysdale on this term.](https://twitter.com/EvolvingHockey/status/1547388948946755585?s=20&t=8ymP3LJupe2ePWu95jX8xg)
Great, strome. Now do palat
What’s next? I’m hoping Ryan’s bro Dylan!
