I feel like the extra stroke helped the logo pop a bit more. I was convinced the logo did like a lot of colour, but was surprised by the results when I added the stroke.
3 is the best imo.
Everyone should just leave the damn orange out, and there’s half the battle. 1 or if orange is a must, 3.

Copper drop
Copper and red is my favorite but the last one is the best for the current Oilers and the color scheme we’ve been using from all of history not 1998-2008

The copper and blue looks sick. Much better than the bright orange. Plus it matches that era.
Dude 3 and 4 are so nice. Are you able to take 4 and make the grey area blue and the background / main jersey area white?? I think that would look INSANE

I’m probably in the minority here, but I do like 5 quite a bit. The outline really sets it off. Gives it a meteor fire contrail vibe. I wanted to say « I can tolerate the orange drop this way »… but I think the 2 actually work quite well together – the Oil drop is the radiating core for the fiery meteor gear.
I like it.
Also 4 I think is criminally underrated in these comments. Very reverse retro to the era that this jersey is from.
The third one and the fifth one would get my vote.

The fifth one is a definite improvement to the alleged one we will use, at least to my eye. Nice work.
The fourth one has the best ‘spirit’ for combining the jersey colours of that time with this logo. So it’s probably the best version of what a reverse retro is supposed to celebrate honestly.
