Both teams got 3 PP and each converted once. If you blame refs for bad games, then that is a pretty low standard for a team, especially in hockey. This isn't golf, there is no gentleman's agreement. Oh sorry the other team didn't play nice? What did you expect? Instead of blaming the refs, the real teams go toe-to-toe and get dirty too. So admit you got outplayed, shake it off, then go and do better on to the next one. That said, Sorokin was just straight up on fire tonight, really fantastic goaltending. Shesterkin gets solid credit as well, goalies were the stars of this match in my book 100%
edit: That being said, there are badly refed games sometimes, but those are way less often than people make it seem. So if you blame every bad game on the status of the refs it only hides the real outliers out there; looking at you St.Pierre! But this wasn't one of them.
To all the ranger fans complaining, you do realize refs miss or make a bad call like 5 times a game, every game. It's just how bad they are, deal with it. They didn't have it out against your team

Rangers going to playoffs ….but gone in first round, but hey they made it, that's what I'm hearing from rags fans, they know they have no chance at conference finals, but as long as islanders or Devils aren't in the playoffs, then they think they won the cup… go figure . the franchise has false idols, numbers of players retired who played 2 years for them. yeah Wayne Gretzky, Messier are oilers not rangers , 1994 was a fluke , their best goalie in franchise history has no cups.. they play their games in the arm pit of the world….they say they play in a square building but its really round…….and four Cups in 96 years, Gee devs and isles have that in in 50 years, Rangers won 3 of those cups when there were 6 teams in the league so pathetic.
