As a Sharks fan I'm very glad to see the Stars win. As a neutral hockey fan, given the situation, I'm wondering why PDB didn't pull his goalie to give the Knights an extra attacker in the last minute of regulation there. It would've been a 5 on 4 for VGK and DAL couldn't get away with icing it since they weren't on the PK. VGK played not to lose and it cost them.
I know the Knights fans are hurting, but it may cheer you up to know the Sabre fans are tickled pink at your going limp because we want a better draft pick (your first rounder you got for Mr. Grumpy).
The NHL fan base doesn't hate VGK because they are a newer franchise, we hate the for the way they toyed with their players, and how they treated Flower 🌼…no one outside of Vegas feels bad if you don't make the playoffs this year…

Even as an avid Vegas hater, I feel for Thompson he’s been lights out lately despite some devastating loses for the Golden Knights. Also great story going from the ECHL to the NHL in only 2 seasons.
Yeah I think Dallas Stars are going to win the Stanley Cup. Last night they proved how resilient and tough they can be when things get hard. They showed that they can not only battle back from a 2 – 1 deficit, but that they can also win when everything is on the line. Furthermore, they proved that they won't give up and that they don't even know how to give up. Moreover, They showed that they are willing to risk it all when their season is on the line and that proves that they are prepared for do or die situations and that they will not only fight until the end, but that they will also persevere and overcome any obstacles or obstructions that gets placed in their way and these are all key qualities and characteristics that a team that is going to win the Stanley Cup must have and Dallas has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they in fact do have these qualities and characteristics and therefore will win the Stanley cup and not just because they have what it takes to win the Stanley cup, but also because it's their destiny to win the Stanley Cup, this is because the Dallas Stars have proven that they refuse to give up and that they refuse to die, because they will fight the good fight and keep on fighting until the very end and they will never give up or lose or ever even die because they know they must and will win the Stanley cup, because the Dallas stars are the best team in NHL history, no one even comes close.
Let it be known: Before Dallas vs Arizona and Vegas vs Chicago could end, Dallas clinches a playoff spot. Because Chicago forced a shootout 🤣 In the 'ideal ways to make the playoffs', even the Arizona Coyotes would be like.. 'Uhhhh, anything else? Is there any other way?? Nothing? Ok then. Thanks, hockey gods..? 🤷'
