  1. Great player very versatile and a huge presence on the ice. However people rarely talk about how much dirty stuff he’s done and got away with. I’ve never seen a player thow so many succer punches and not get a bad reputation. Maybe it’s because he’s so big and so it’s hard to pick out intentional headshots, elbows etc but he’s really got away with a lot of bad hits throughout his career.

  2. I won't ever forget Buff as a legendary player, he deserves to be recognized and remembered

  3. Love how they are trying to make it seem like buff and chevy are at odds. I think the whole organization was very gracious in keeping the real reason quiet. The public won't know for a few years…

  4. I wont be able to cackle anymore.. Hope him well, gonna be anxious watching him play against my jets.

  5. Oh how I miss big buff,my heart aches.Thank you buff their will not be another like you.Chevy you piss me off……..

  6. Buff’s fan might be mad at me for this, but I think jets terminating Buff’s contract is a good idea cuz Buff is not playing and while the jets have less cap space for nothing. After selling Buff they’ll free up 7.6M $ for cap space and they could sign some decent defensemen to work on that bad Defense they’re having.

  7. Aw man I’m going to miss yelling “fight!fight!fight!” At buff through the screen. My fav moment of his was when he got the two players by the hand. I’m going to miss buff the player I grew up to watching on my tv. He was a great Winnipeg jets player and always will❤️👏😥

  8. He was one of my favorite players on the Thrashers and continued to be one of my favorites when they moved to Winnipeg. Legend.

  9. Give it a few weeks the overall feel around buff will all turn positive he will be a lasting icon in Winnipeg forever! thanks for the memories buff!!

  10. Buff was the player Winnipeg deserved, best fans in the league (and I'm a Flames fan).

  11. So sad truly heartbroken all time favorite player and watching the jets just wont be the same

  12. Buff's best moments were in Chicago. 2010 playoffs. Coach Q puts him in at forward and he did an amazing Phil Esposito routine. Stood in front of the net, pissed off goalies, bullied defensemen, scored goals, assists, and the legend was born. Bryan Bickell tried to replace him, but once you've had the original….

  13. Much respect. Byfuglien will always be remembered by the fans. Everything about him was amazing. He produced. He was nimble. And he entertained. His worth on our team was highly valued. This piece of our puzzle will never be replaced now thats He's gone. Thank you buff 🙏

  14. Stupid Stan Bowman traded him away for nothing to the then Thrashers, but then again he did trade Panarin too away. Plain dumb and dumber!

  15. Seen a lot of HoFers retire in the last 5 or so years but I don't miss watching any of them more than I do Big Buff.

May retirement treat you right, big man.

  16. Really enjoyed watching this man career. Look forward to the book Buff!

  17. Playing against him in youth AAA was terrifying, working in the front office while he was on the Blackhawks at the same time was amazing. One of the greatest personalities in the NHL. Buff never cared about the limelight or the money, I think at this point he just wants to be left alone to fish and hunt….seriously…..that's just how he is. But he will always be a legend in my eyes.

  18. Jets fans miss him and rightfully so. But many tears were shed in Chicago after he left that SC winning team in '10. All because of an idiotic blunder by the GM.
