I'm liking the recent pairing of McLeod-Kassian…both have wheels, decent hands & are big, aggressive checkers. With Woody going back to 11/7, that 4th pairing often gets Connor or Leon. It's really paying some dividends.
Why did McDavid score that empty netter? It didn't do anything helpful. It just made the game go on longer by having the stoppage of play for the goal. He must really care about the point lead to score a meaningless goal like that.
i havent watched hockey in over 30 years. until recently. no cable ect. i grew up playing. i have noticed that the goalies spend to much time on their knees. cant move laterally very good that way. just an observation. overall the players today are so much better all around.
