Samsonov is garbage! He has to be the sloppiest goalie in the entire league, yes I say this as a Caps fan. I have zero confidence in him when he is in net for us. He had promise at the beginning but I just don't see it happening anymore. Vanecek is hit or miss. Sometimes he plays really good and other times not so much. Next season we need to do everything we can to pick up a somewhat decent goalie. I am talking about giving away future picks to pick someone up. The team rallies behind their goalie more so than the captain IMO.
Did Oashie want vegas to win? Look at his defensive effort on the over time goal. Hes past his prime. I vote for him to be gone this of season. Backstrom too. This team has got to get younger. They only need one old guy. OV

Anybody recognize that Ovi would have had a hat trick this game of Kuznetzov wouldn’t have touched the puck and pushed it across the goal line on the first goal of the game? It was going to cross the goal line on its own, but kuznetzov just reacted and pushed in himself.. which I can’t blame him, anyone would have done the same thing, just reacting to a puck not quite in the net and wanting to make damn sure that it goes all the way in before anything else happens. But, just couldn’t help but acknowledge the fact that Ovi would have had a hat trick if kuznetzov hadn’t pushed that first one in.

Bossy … and his were in a row …one he didn't his last which was cut short due to injury his back😣 can you imagine if the rules in regards to cross checking applied then,when. Bossy played like they are now ? He , I'm quite sure ,could have played more seasons and most assuredly would have made the 900 goal club bet on it.
