Aperçu de la saison 2022-23 des Bruins de Boston

Les Bruins seront testés pour commencer la saison avec des problèmes de blessures majeurs. S’ils peuvent passer à travers cela, les séries éliminatoires sont probablement encore à portée de main. 1. They'll have a slow start since they're missing a lot of veterans, who, once they're back, will ensure they finish with a mediocre record JUST short of the playoffs. Columbus, NJ, Detroit, Ottawa and even the Sabers are all young and looking to improve on last season while Boston will be weaker. I've all but written them off this season, same as the Isles but still better than the Habs or Flyers. March should be a LOT more interesting than this year.

  2. Don Sweeney should’ve been fired years ago. No reason to give that useless tool an extension this off-season. Especially after pissing away $20M in cap space last summer on bums.

  3. All I’m saying is Bruins should of started a rebuild after 2020. Don Sweeney again trying to show he can create a cup contender, guy is preventing us of a good future

  4. incredibly bold but I'm believing in Jim Montgomery. This roster (at full strength granted) is too talented to miss the playoffs. if they manage to get in, I would be very afraid personally. I'm also excited to see another full year for Jeremy Swayman.

  5. have you heard rumors of Lucic returning? That move alone would help me becoming a Bruins fan again.

  6. A combined 99% on both channels believe they'll just miss out in 5th or 6th and I tend to agree. It's time for a drop-off, they've had a good contending run over the past while.

  7. Honestly I would love to see Boston take a step back, but at the same time I'm sad the Leafs never redeemed themselves against the Bruins so if the Leafs were top the division and Bruins were wildcard I would be hyped

  8. It will take a lot of "ifs" to break the right way for the Bruins, but we all know the talent is there to not only make the playoffs but wreak havoc on teams with more talent on paper.
This is definitely Sweeney pushing for one more run, but after this year it's nearly certain that this franchise will be mired in mediocrity. A bad start and he would be foolish not to blow it up, especially with valuable chips in depth defensemen and starting-caliber goalies. A good start, especially in the wake of the injuries to start the year, and that last run will be a distinct possibility.

Something a lot of people are overlooking is this team, if fully healthy, will finally have the key pieces they've been missing these last few years in solid 2nd and 3rd lines (vs. being one-line wonders) and shoring up weakness in their depth defensemen.
Fabian Lysell will likely get some time with the big club and could make an instant impact

  9. I think Pasternak will be the only one who resigns out of all those upcoming free agents

  10. Life long Bruins fan. They will be good enough to be a win tonight lose tomorrow night season, squeak into the playoffs in the first round. They needed to get rid of Sweeney and Neeley, gather high draft picks and tank like Toronto did. The 2023 draft is worth it. Hopefully after the disaster this season will be heads will roll and they can do a proper rebuild. I will gladly take a few years of ugly for a better result later.

  11. I think it's probably realistic to say one of Detroit, Buffalo or Ottawa passes them with the injuries. That's not counting OTHER injuries that could happen before the season starts. They might be as low as 7th out of the game, but should be fighting for 4th by the end of the season… The question will be, how far are they behind when they are as healthy as they can be.

  12. breakout canidate, i'd say debrusk. Even though he's older now, I think he has a solid chance to improve when players are out to start the season.

  13. Without key players, they only have 7 games vs atlantic rivals up into December.. their schedule is road heavy, but reasonable during the start to season so with a key group of stay at home defense, perhaps they win some boring games and could be a sleeper top 4 in conference even without those players… that would be the bright side… a lot will be determined with Krejci and if he is still ready.. playing all last year likely helped with that, but seeing is believing. Krejci can pull up Hall and elevate Pasta even more if he hits the ground running.

  14. Aging players is a problem when the speed of the player is a factor in his previous success. Bergeron, and Krejci were never considered fast. Their strengths has always been smarts and skill and they still got that. The main concern might be them being injury prone.
