It seems that the introduction to new betting system in Ontario seems to affect the outcome of these games. Calgary was totally robbed of that win last night, total injustice! Sickening!

Very high scoring game neither team played good defense this game was a chess match because once the oilers came back from down two to zero everytime the flames would score the oilers would score.
Maybe I see it different than the referees but 5-4 to the Flames was a clean goal. Congrats to the Oilers anyhow as I had them as winner of the serie in the NHL bracket
Calgary got screwed. That goal would have gone in regardless whether the skate was there or not. He was also trying to stop , his skate was already going that direction. Markstrom played like a sieve the whole series. Smith was even worse but Edmonton can score so they win in spite of him.

Edmonton would be cup contenders every year if they had a freak for a net minder.. either way this next round is gonna be a tough one for Smith so everyone will have to up their game defensively to help out.
I have trouble to understand why the 5th calgary goal was denied. Isnt it suppose to be a kick and lifting of the skate to denie the goal? Atleast in my book it was a solid goal. Anyway good luck Edmonton. Even though i think its Colorados year now.
As a mostly unbiased (the only hockey bias I have is I despise the Leafs), and neutral party, that goal should have counted IMO. It wasn't a distinct kicking motion and he was pushed into the goalie.
I miss Zack on the Leafs… Good on him for playing so hard and well for the Oilers. Seems to be the only way the Leafs will see 2nd round playoffs, by playing for another team 😉
