@Golden Knights de Vegas

Aperçu de la saison 2022-23 des Golden Knights de Vegas

Sauront-ils trouver suffisamment de buts avec la perte de Pacioretty et Dadonov ? Thompson peut-il devenir le partant ou est-ce le filet de Brossoit? 1. Vegas misses the playoffs again this season. Management is fired next season, they start full rebuild the season after.

  2. I don't think it's McCrimmon either, and I'm starting to think Foley is going to run this team into the ground. Which sucks, they had and barely still have enough potential. But trading away picks and all of your prospects for the likes of lesser talent is going to cost them. Broissoit and Lehner were huge downgrades, and now they're just giving away top tier talent. Feels bad for the misfits still there

  3. I think Eichel will show with a full training camp and Stone back to health. They should move Marchy up front with em and put Stephenson with Wid Bill n Smithy. They need to find a way to get Statsny back. LT is bout to show up n show out as the # 1 tendy. Hopefully the boys can stay healthy and Brisson holds his own in the show. Cassidy will set the special teams up RoiGht and fix that ish that DeBoer couldn't. See them in the top spot in the Pacific, and somewhere from 1st to 3rd in the divy.

  4. If they werent in the west they wouldnt even be a footnote in the east 🙂

  5. I would not be surprised if they dumped Wild Bill to get a chance at Kadri.

I think Tage Thompson will outscore Eichel again. And I hope I’m wrong.

  6. They’re probably gonna trade guys like Stone and McNabb to sign Mathews is two years. Then the team will probably go nowhere with two locker room cancers killing any hope and optimism in the locker room.

  7. Vegas has a Vegas mindset. When we hit big we double down and go again 😂

  8. From everyone's darlings to…I don't know what. Firing Gallant all of a sudden was an eye-brow raising move but that Fleury trade to Chicago's ugly mess was a terrible way to treat someone so important to the VGK's.

Injuries damaged Vegas' chances of punching their ticket last year but watching Eichel's return to Buffalo after The Trade which netted us (right away) Tuch/Krebs who LOVE being part of the Sabres' improving culture was unbelievably satisfying.

So the Knights have lost Pacioretty and Lehner's lost for all of 2022-23 and they still have little cap-space to speak of and their cupboard's been pared-down thanks to trades like Tatar's and etc. and etc. and etc. Ain't looking good. They still have a fair amount of pieces to run rings around the Yotes of the league but to keep up w/ the 100-pts teams…nope.

  9. @TheHockeyGuy my boyfriend lives in Vegas, is a fan of this team, and has been watching your videos for a while. He enjoys your content, but says you are wrong about the no cap space. Shea Weber- 7m LTIR. Robin Lehner- 5.5m LTIR. Nolan Patrick- 2.4m LTIR. With Nick Roy signed 5 years at 3m AAV. Keegan Kolesar signed 3 years at 4.4m AAV. Jake Leschyshyn and Paul Cotter both signed for league minimum 750k for 3 years each. That leaves a total of roughly 7m in cap space due to LTIR money. Nicolas Hague will get around 3m AAV. That leaves Vegas with around 4-5m in cap space.

  10. I admire that the swung for the fences, but they missed. They might be able to get in with how weak the pacific is, but if even one of the Cali teams or Vancouver improves, Eichel's probably looking at another year out of the playoffs.

  11. Really hoping for this team to crash and burn. Treat their players like cogs in a machine and don’t accept reality in front of them.

  12. If they can stay in contention with two relative unknowns in net, it would be impressive. The Eichel Curse will be hard to break.

  13. Patches was dropped to gain more cap, and get rid of an injury prone player. Stone had surgery on his back, so if he's back at full capacity, he and Eichel are going to be dynamic. With our LTIR, we're going to have around 10 million in space, so I see some possible trades and loaners incoming.

  14. Do you think it’s fair to keep hearing about the eichel curse? I didn’t like lehner before this and I feel like he was injured a lot before getting to Vegas. I may be wrong just looking for another point of view

  15. I think how vegas does depends on goaltending. They still have solid forwards and d, and they're in a weaker division right now (canucks fan)

  16. Great thought.
Nazim K. making his way to Vegas this year.
That's the only way I see them making the playoffs.

  17. Vegas is what happens when people with narcissistic personality disorders are managing the team. Shiny new objects win win win me me me. how's that working for ya?

  18. Talk of Klingberg overplaying his hand…I was going to say Vegas the team had kind of the same but I think you hit the nail on the head with "chasing that feeling." They're chasing their losses. On tilt.

  19. Entire preview not one mention of Mark Stone? His health is key to the season.

  20. If I were a player just traded to VGK, I wouldn’t even bother trying to settle down.

  21. I think you got it right saying the real problem with the crazy trades is Bill Foley. He is a win at all costs a**hole who has loyalty only to the almighty dollar.

  22. Can we address just how unlikeable this team and front office has become?? THANK GOD FOR THE CAPS IN ‘18!! That Finals appearance got them drunk on shiny toys and big names and fans became entitled on the fluke of ‘18. Not my idea btw… take a look at UrinatingTree’s videos on the VGK, as well as Legorocks99’s videos. Now the fans (to their credit) have begun to see the front office as the shallow, shortsighted organization that it is. I can only hope that the fans and players become less toxic over time and the front office starts putting together a likeable team (that will still kick the crap out of your team nonetheless) ala the Colorado Avalanche right now.

  23. If Eichel and Mark Stone can stay healthy, that can produce a lot of offense but can they keep the puck out of their own net with two young goalies? I guess time will tell. I think they make the playoffs but I don’t see them competing for a cup this season.

  24. What happened last year? Pretty easy. No Fleury. No Reaves. And too much (any is too much) DeBoer.

  25. Honestly, I think this team is a 6 or 7 in the west. The first two lines are solid but they don’t have much depth. They lost a lot more than they gained. Goaltending is shaky at best. I like Thompson but he’s not sorokin or something. Defense is solid but not too offensively capable. I don’t see it. Most other teams in the west upgraded and Vegas didn’t at all.

  26. Thompson appeared in 19 games for the VGK last season, had a GAA of 2.68 and a .914 SV% on the way to a 10-5-3 record…better numbers than both Lehner and Brossoit. But what was most impressive was he got 15 starts in the final 20 games and posted a 9-3-3 record over that span, on a team hurting for scoring from being decimated with injuries, AND the three regulation losses were all shutouts by the opposing team's goalie, and in similar fashion, the three OTL's were shootouts in which the VGK failed to get one in.

Another plus is he's left-handed, which will cause opponents to adjust to something they're not used to shooting at. With a healthy team in front of him, he just might end up being the biggest "fate lending a hand" story of the season.
