Les Kings ont beaucoup de bons jeunes joueurs et espoirs. Ils cherchent à rester dans les séries éliminatoires l’année prochaine et pourraient vraiment faire de grands changements pendant la saison morte pour rendre cela plus probable. 1. LA only made the playoffs this year as the 3rd divisional team because Vegas and Vancouver laid an egg.

LA should take a step forward, but those two teams should be much better next year.

At the same time, Dallas and Nashville are probably going to be worse, so perhaps the wild card slots will be more in play next year if LA (likely) doesn't secure top 3 in the Pacific.

  2. The Kings need a little bit more Grit and a dude that can launch Criuse Missiles from the Blue Line… then they will be in good shape.

  3. Love the Kings, Anderson on Defense is amazing. Durzi I'm not a fan but maybe has potential. Andreas is super skilled but lacks the guts to make it happen consistently. Byfield might have to say bye if he doesn't improve next season. All in all I have good faith in this team and they shouldn't make too many changes for 2023 besides acquiring a few more scorers and 1-2 more solid D men. If the Kings had Drew, Walker, and Arvidson for this past playoff they would've definitely beat those dirty rotten Oilers.

  4. My kings fell off just as my sharks predators blackhawks red wings ducks blues jets senators capitals islanders sabres has

  5. I think the kings are going to remain a decent playoff contender until Quick retire, unless they can get a good goalie, they're going to look like the oilers for a long time

  6. They need more size on the blue line we are getting pushed around in the crease. Frk is my favorite.

  7. Worried about Cal Petersen he’s a lot of money for his level this season. I hope we get Filip Forsberg, he’d fit right in and help our horrid PP no doubt. Then get a big d-man and we should be in real good hands

I only worried about our goaltending, Quick is good but we can’t expect Quick to carry the net forever and like I said Petersen is a ticking time bomb. Hopefully I’m wrong

  8. Future looks bright for the Kings. A few things that concern me..Kopi showing is age (not a knock on him as time catches up to all of us) and we’re going to need someone to fill his skates VERY soon, as I’d say he has a few seasons left at best 😟😟and I’m not so sure about Byfield. Also..goalies…Quick is aging and has a few seasons left at best, and I’m not seeing Peterson being the future goalie that will take a team to a cup. There are other concerns too, like a small-ish defense and horrible special teams, but I still am optimistic 😁😁

  9. Loved the way Mikey Andersson played in the playoffs. Gritty player with a lot of heart. Team has potential. The right moves in free agency and the skies the limit.

  10. 0:10
This is why i wasn't all that upset with losing in the first round (especially since we managed to stretch the series out to 7 games after losing games 2 and 3 by a combined score of 14-2, plus our loss, and Dallas' loss gave us the Battle of Alberta in the 2nd round).

  11. Farewell Dustin Brown! As a long time kings fan, I'll miss you. Too bad we couldn't get you a 3rd cup before you left. Have a wonderful retirement and thank you soooo much for your service…

  12. As an Oilers fan one name that scared me every time I heard it was Grundstrom. Kings have a good future

  13. Give Quick as goalie credit for his longevity for being as good as he has. How many other teams have the same goalie for the same amount of time as the King's have in Quick. Maybe one or two.

  14. I hope they go after Bedard to end the rebuild for good. They’re inconsistent. One week they look good & one week they look like a lottery team. They should just pull a Montreal Canadiens for one more good prospect. Trade Arvidsson & Iaffalo for a decent young goalie.

  15. I love your channel. However I would like you to bring back the white board for the news of the day.

  16. Our future is bright and I think things will only improve from here on out. The 20 mill in cap space gives us a lot of room to play with if Blake makes the right decisions moving forward.

  17. any recs for an someone from la trying to get more into the kings? haven't really watched at all since 2015

  18. For the RFAs, i can see Mikey, Kempe(obvi) grund, Durzi, and maybe lemieux. Vilardi has shown potential but with him not playing much, and showing that he still needs development thats a 50/50 shot. He can shoot and play defense, but sometimes he doesnt back check well. Thats where i see him maybe not coming back as a King. Moverare is something I havent seen enough of him. Season ticket holder here. thanks THG, GKG!

  19. Run and gun, dump and chase, and cycle looks like Sutter's team. It's so predictable. For a period of about 5 regular season games the Kings played a more compact short passing game by overloading in specific areas and supporting the puck carrier. I thought Todd MC figured it out for the Kings because this was the best I seen the Kings played. The other crap system seemed too complicated and younger players struggled to adapt. Maata struggled and I think he is looking for a contract out of LA. This whole focus on speed is crap. Supporting compact style of play with a short passing game better develops teamwork with the younger players. No substitute for speed, size, and skill for ANY position on the roster.

  20. Petersen really needs to step up. I think Petersen, Villardi and Byfield i fully expect to see breakthroughs next season.

With Clarke possibly coming in i know they need a left shot stud but we could possibly see Clarke breaking in on the left side just to keep him in LA with the big club if they don't get the FA they're looking for this summer.

  21. Great video on the Kings once again, and if I learned anything while watching this and thinking to myself. It's that JQ still has a lot left in himself, he's just been waiting for a good offensive group infront of him. Dude never quits. I love him. Again, awesome video aand thank you so much!!!

  22. Quick is King's conundrum bridging the past, present and future. As a player he is not ready to let go of # 1 goalie which creates a dilemma on Kings Management like Martin Jones had to be traded to Boston and ended up with San Jose. The question is Cal be able to deservingly wrestle the top goalie duty from Quickie next season? If not we have another issue at hand again and again at Quick's advanced age, can he carry the Kings throughout regular and playoff seasons? A big Kings make next year's playoff.

  23. Erik Kyle, you nailed it with saying Fiala was ideal for the Kings! Blake took your advice lol. Now on to Chychurn or Sanheim or Zadorov? Gotta keep Lemieux & Grundstrom for physicality as they were manhandled by many teams.

  24. Kings just got Kevin Fiala in a trade with Wild. Kings need another scorer. Brown retired after the 1st round lost to the Soilers.

  25. An off topic thought here. It just occurred to me how underrated the L.A. Kings drafting was in the 80's and 90s. Particularly D-men. deep breath Mark Hardy, Jay Wells, Larry Murphy, Dean Kennedy, Gary Galley, Rob Blake, Daryl Sydor, Alexei Zhitnik, Kimmo Timmonen, Joe Corvo, Frantisek Kaberle and Lubomor Viznovski. Exhale
Obv. these aren't all homer defenders. But keeping an influx of quality defenders such as these can only benifit a team building fowards contending for the Cup.
I'm just going off of HOCKEY DB's list here and I can probably assume there were many a-different GM'S and scouting groups involved over those 2 decades. Nevertheless that's a dozen or so D-men with 700+ games, 6 with 1000+ and 2 Hall of Famers.
Game on y all! Take care!

  26. thanks for the memories brown but your contract really held the kings back. look what happen the moment your contract is up. the kings trade for fiala and are consider as up and coming
