4 straight Cups,& 5 straight Finals. Took this same Oiler team, full of HOFers,& the greatest ever, to keep them from winning 5 straight. I think my Avs have a shot at multiple Cups, in next 5-6 yrs. But you'll never see 4 straight Cups, or 5 straight Finals.

When i had to leave Uniondale to move to Europe for family reasons ,being on the airplane thinking what will I miss the most from the isle hands down was my beloved islanders having supported them since day 1 .They have given me the greatest memories I will never forget them I live in Greece now since1984 and I am 66 years old but ever so often I put on YouTube the games of the 4 strait stanly cups years and i cry .God bless all you guys wherever you are now. In my opinion you where the greatest hockey team of all time
NY Islanders My favorite sports team of all time. 19 straight series wins. No other nhl team ever accomplished that! The Drive for Five almost made it 5 straight. A team like no other now and forever!!!!

I remember a game when they carried off Duane Sutter on a stretcher with a head injury. The next period he was back on the ice with his head bandaged like a mummy. They were made of tougher stuff back then. Lol

I am oilers fun and that oilers team of the 1984 to 1990 was amazing 5 cups in 7 years. The lslanders team early 1980s was unbelievable and in my opinion the greatest team of all time 5 straight finals 4 cups and 19 straight playoff series win what can you say unbelievable amazing awesome 👌.
