[Lortie] Je ne peux pas confirmer à 100% si cela est vrai, mais 2 employés différents de la LNH m’ont dit que PK Subban avait les yeux rivés soit sur une réunion des Canadiens, soit sur une dernière chance à la Coupe avec les Leafs. C’étaient les 2 seules options dans son esprit. Lorsque les deux portes se sont fermées, il avait fini.
Can't 100% confirm if this is true but 2 different #NHL employees have told me that P.K. Subban had his eyes set on either a #GoHabsGo reunion or a final shot at the Cup with #LeafsForever. That were the only 2 options in his mind. When both doors closed, he was done.

The fact that he wanted to come back … To a rebuilding team … On a minimum salary contract …. With a severely injured back.
I don’t think his dad would let him play for the leafs
So his only real shot was a reunion with us. Other one isn’t realistic.
I feel like the Habs maybe should have bit considering all the charity work he’s done for the MCH and he presumably would have been minimum salary.
