About as good of a season any Wings fan could hope for. Good last game as well. 50 points for Seider. 30th goal of the season for Bert. Hellberg gets his first start and win in the NHL in over 5 years. Nice W to end the season on
I feel bad devils and wings are going to the playoffs there both games
Seider has provided me with great hope of seeing Stanley back in the motor city soon.
Bertuzzi with 62 points without playing in Canada. This kid is a stud. mvp on the wings in my opinion. He creates so many plays, and is the most fun to watch.
Red Wings @ Devils
FireBlashill&Co
See you next season, devils
w
I believe the wings will make the playoffs next season 😌
What a great game to shut those jersey commentators up…👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😂😂😂😂😂
Blackwood's trade value has plummeted
Bertuzzi at the end wanted that goal more than anything in the world lol
Now get rid of Blashill and get a real coach.
Trade bertuzzi.
Why can’t you post Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond sportscast
A fine debut by Magnus Hellberg in goal, here. He really looked the part: decisive, strong against the rush, in command around his crease and good reflexes, too, for the most part. If, as seems likely, Thomas Greiss is not back with us next season, then I, for one, would be more than happy to see Magnus back in a Winged Wheel jersey (getting a chance to show us what he can really do over a full season), again.
Great to see Mo notching up his fiftieth point (in style!) here and as for Tyler Bertuzzi, well, while he may not be my favorite Red Wings player (by some distance), I surely do respect the 200% effort and sheer physicality that he brings to every game that he plays with the team. Happy to see Lucas Raymond continuing his outstanding season all the way up to the end of Game 82, here, too, as well as Joe Veleno netting that absolute rocket of a wrist shot (off Bertuzzzi's absolutely A-grade puck chase and set-up pass)!
All in all, then, it was nice to end the season on a relative high in this one. Lots to work on during the lead-up to next season, for sure, but in the meantime we can look forward to the upcoming draft lottery, the draft itself, Steve Yzerman's (and his more than able supporting cast's) always masterful and below-the-radar work in free agency, etc. We have a raft of talent coming through the pipeline, now (particularly from Sweden), too, and so there is a hell of a lot to be excited about as we head into the generally quieter late-spring/summer months!!!
I hope that all of you long-time Red WIngs fans out there (Bill Johanson, The Paradox Destroyer, Lord Venom, Angel, etc.) and also ALL of you newer guys/gals who have may joined the Red WIngs train for the very first time, this season, have a really great off-season!
Roll on October. Let's Go, Red Wings!!!
Great way to end the season. If we get a new coach, this next season will be must see tv
Really like the addition of Oskar Sundqvis. Great ice awareness and calm play. Hope they keep him.
