Edmonton doing a good job of extracting value out of E. Kane literally the only way possible: him being a #6 or 7 in the pecking order among the forwards, and on a veteran minimum deal. The moment the guy gets put in a leadership role or starts cashing a check something switches in his mind and he’s useless. Nice work by the old man in the GM’s chair in Edmonton on this one.

Tonight they almost got shutout again. Kings must stay out of the penalties. Oilers power plays are good. Kings are not good on PP.
