  1. Yeah this is misleading and kravstov admitted he was being childish which is why he's going to be on the roster lol. Nills got outplayed by Schneider, he wasn't ready for nhl and smaller ice. But this is nowhere near the same. Kravstov was being a baby and his agent talked to Drury near end of season and that's why they didn't go nuts and resign copp, or any of the others. The problem with European players that are young is they think they are ready to be top notch players and are butthurt when they have to go down to the minors and get better.

Facts are facts nills got completely outplayed by Schneider and he never went back down. Nothing wrong with nils he just needs to adjust but if he wants to be a baby then I'm fine moving him our defense will be fine.

  2. its not weird, its depth and these first rounders want to get traded to a team they can play on because they havent been good enough to play for the Rags. Its not "three straight guys" when you consider all the other young players who are playing good enough to make the team.

  3. Liason Anderson is a bust. He didn't play well enough to be on the team. Schneider, Fox, Lindgren and Miller are all ahead of him. Robertson and Jones are close to ready for d spots as well. Tough spot for Lundkvist.

Kravstov is going to be a good player. He did not put up a ton of points in his NHL games but was good–showed flashes and was good on the fore and backcheck. Chytil, Kakko, Laffy are all good young players. Othmann and Culley are close too. There are a lot of young good players and they can't all fit.

    It's tough.

  4. It’s simple, really. He wants a nice place to park his cars, so he wants to be traded to Columbus. Everyone wants to be in Columbus now. It’s a very fashionable town these days.

  5. Zac Jones is going to go on that 3rd Pairing with Schneider probably so there literally no spot for him that's why he wants out he's got a very limited chance to play

  6. rangers can't draft bustfreniere, kakko, chytil, kravtsov, lundkvist, lias andersson

  7. Was never impressed with Lundkvist at all. Should have drafted Sandin who went right after him. Bobrov had Rangers draft some players that were long shots. Kakko, Kravtsov, Lundqvist all poor selections.

  8. I know it’s a crazy idea but how about show up to camp and see if you are good enough to make the team?

  9. Here is the problem. They always ask too much or give very little in trades. Hence they always end up with disgruntled players.

  10. 22 and not a regular, I dont blame him trying to get somewhere with less depth.

  11. The NYR made it deep into the playoffs with the decisions made by Drury. The NYR have a good problem, they have too many talented players. The young prospects who didn't make it couldn't outplay the other players on the team. If Nil Lundkvist doesn't believe in himself – he already believes he can't beat out any other defensemen to make the team – then how are the coaches supposed to believe in him. Where is his fight? Miller and Schneider had no problem. The Rangers need team players in their locker room. He needs to show up at camp and prove he is better, period. If anything, Drury and the NYR scouts need to do a better job of not drafting prima donnas. Speaking of deja vu, Kravtsov bailed on his team and slunk back to Russia. If he would have stayed, he would have been the next man up when the Rangers were in need of a RW. He would have had a golden opportunity. He let down his team and the fans who really wanted him to succeed. Since he is back, I am assuming he has matured a bit or else Drury wouldn't be talking to him. It's obviously best to work with Drury for his own career as well as his team's success. LGR!!

  12. Schneider was in the same group of top level D prospects we had. Both were stuck on 3rd line. 1 worked 1 didnt.
