Impressive patience from Hughes
Lehner lost that game. Worst decision Vegas ever made was letting Fleury go for a song and a dance. Lehner is not starter goalie material.
GGS Golden Knights. Beautiful win to make 4 straight. To bad we couldn't finish in time and have to share the points but still got the W. Some great goals and some super beautiful saves. I tip my hat to you Demko you are amazing. Great game over all. GO CANUCKS 💙💚💙💚💙💚
I’m not usually one to blame a goaltender for a loss, but Jesus Christ that was one of the worst performances from Robin Lehner we have ever seen. The horrific defense on the penalty kill didn’t help either, but we can’t have goaltending this sloppy to let in 2-3 softies, especially in playoff crunch time.
Listen if you’re part of VGK nation like me, I just wanna say if we do miss the playoffs(which I hope we don’t), it’s just really all the injuries that occurred. Like we had our best defenseman, our captain, and one of our best goal scorers out for most of the season and things never went well with stuff like that. The offseason will honestly give us a chance to regroup stuff and we could maybe make a few trades as well. The fleury trade was heartbreaking but it wasn’t just all because of that. Imo, maybe we should have Thompson be the starter cause he’s decent. Missing the playoffs would suck since it would be the first time in our franchise, but it would give us a bunch of time to get things together in the offseason.
Whether you thought the OT goal was a penalty or not, eichel looks soft in front of his own net. The hardest cross check in the world shouldn't send you diving and looking for a call in OT, near his own goal.
Plus it seemed like he was a ghost the whole game.

That was the worst 3rd period I have ever watched.
Lehner….watch that last goal. He's watching the puck after the initial shot. It's what he does every single play. Our defense should have been better but there is no excuse for what the Canucks announcers said numerous times "Lehner doesn't know where the puck is." He's good and deserves ice time, but he's guy who should only be in net a third or half the time he is.
