The chrome only looks good on the goalie IMO. Otherwise they look small, cheap, and ridiculous. Something about them gives off the vibe that children would wear them haha
IMO the Kings' chrome helmets would look better if the jerseys were also silver. I personally find the contrast of the helmets and the jersey to be a distracting clash as opposed to complimentary. It's the same issue I have with the Golden Knights' golden lids.
Hathaway went huge being in the right spot at the right time- but Carlson's instincts on the pass were immaculate. Sees the goalie overcommit and finds a passing window all the same. The goal was so gritty you might chalk it up to puck luck, but that was some incredibly intelligent hockey right there.
