Read rule 25.2.
25.2 Infractions – When Goalkeeper is On the Ice – A goal will be awarded when an attacking player, in the act of shooting the puck into the goal (between the normal position of the posts and completely across the goal line), is prevented from scoring as a result of a defending player or goalkeeper displacing the goal post, either deliberately or accidentally.
First the net was knocked off by the defense. And second, even though the net was off prior to puck crossing the line, the net was still on as the puck was being propelled in. Both conditions of the rule are met here. Hence good goal.
As for offsides. It's a judgement call. He had possession IMO prior to entering the zone. But to each their own on that one I guess.
Even if you disagree with the call, you have to at least acknowledge it was close and not some no-brainer "no goal".

Not a fan of ether teams but that was defiantly offside they showed proof of that to. unfair in my opinion.
Not a good goal, it was offside. He was already in the zone when the puck hit his stick the first time. Absolute garbage of a call, but you know what, this year, it doesn’t matter, Montreal need to finish last to have the best pick at the next draft.
I will agree that it was a bad call for offsides, but we will definitely take that win. Go Hawks!
