With Couts out Atkinson probably gets the "C". He's the little pet favorite of Torts. Hayes centers TK & JVR on the 1st line, which may be questionable. He's injury prone & they both have been under-achievers. Laughton gets moved up to center the 2nd line with Atkinson & Tippett. Frost may center the 3rd line between Noah Cates & Wade Allison. Zack Brown may center the 4th between MacKewen & Deslauriers. Currently injured – Couts, Farabee, Brink. Dark horses for the extra forwards – Radcliffe & Forrester. Bad, bad shape we are in. This franchise has been burnt to the grown with a very dismal future outlook. We have an incompetent hockey ones who cannot draft, develop or keep players healthy. There is nothing the fans can grab onto. That ship sailed a long time ago. Your “change the narrative” comment drives me nuts as their past three GMs, current one included DESTROYED its personality since 1967. Now they are groveling back to the fans with an extremely weak product that they have created?!?!? They get what they deserve, thousands of empty seats and a ruined franchise
