@Canadiens de Montréal

    None of the players “injured” are fighting for a spot. No need to push them.

    That’s encouraging. There were always bound to be players on IR to start the season to get under the cap. With Drouin and Monahan seemingly healthy, it’ll make being cap compliant incredibly tricky, so if say Edmundson misses a few games at the start of the year, it delays the issue temporarily.

    « Don’t worry guys, these are *brand new* crippling injuries! 😀 »

    Never trust the Canadiens medical staff

    I’m sure it’s no big deal and guys like Eddy and Suzuki will be fine.

    But you can’t blame Habs fans pessimism when the last 3-4 season of Habs hockey have been Lavoie medical update tweets

    The only one I’m concerned about is Edmundson. “Indefinitely” gives me Price PTSD when he fell after stepping on a puck. No one knew if it was going to be 2 weeks, 2 months, 6 months…

    If it’s just a few weeks, then that’s fine. Gives us more time to get a good look at both Guhle and Xhekaj on the left side to start the season.
