I didn't know If the puck is cleanly taken from you; JUST dropping your stick while a guy is on top of you, warrants a F××king Penalty Shot!?! WHAT A JOKE!!! The very 1st penalty of the game was a Tripping call without a stick in the feet or legs, while the Boston player 100% dove?! What A JOKE! Yet Evans gets called for a Dive by Handson while trying to spin out of a BLATANT Interference play!? Not to mention the missed the practically whole Bench Too Many Men AND a High Sticking on Gally in the 3rd! Lost by 1(until the last 7 secs) because of Handson's Disgraceful call To top it off Boston shows there Classlessness by going After players who deliver a clean check, smh😑 But thank you to the fans giving there respect to Lafleur & his family 😁
I feel so bad for Sam Montembeault… dude had to pay for a bogus call. And as a bruins fan, if you over-skate the puck (even if it doesn't move) your penalty shot/shootout attempt should be voided.
Terrible announcing. On first goal, "It ends up on Marchand's stick out front…". Wrong. Marchand did all the dirty work behind the net to get the puck out front…sheehsk. And where's the footage of the infraction leading to the penalty shot??? Dang…
how many people were hoping for the following ending: Suzuki down the right wing (a la Lemaire) & drops the puck to Caufield who blasts it into the far corner (a la Lafleur) to tie the game 4 – 4 with just over a minute to go & then the Habs win in O/T?
Is it just me, or was that ice surface terrible? You can hear it. Like they were skating in slush. You can see that the action is not as fast as you would expect. Surely I'm not the only one to notice that. At one point, you can see a sheen of water over the ice.
I adore the disappointment in the commentators voice every time Boston scores. This is why a lot of Bruins fans don’t mind Edwards. He’s over the top sure, but you can’t deny it’s more entertaining than this.
