  1. Go find Dale Tallon and make him run this organization…..and then beg forgiveness for ever letting him go.

  2. The stupid trade of the day. Blackhawks have a history of getting rid of young proven talent that have become the fan favorites. The "cat" fitted in nicely with the hawk lineup and now he's traded.. a wee bit pissed I am.

  3. great trade hawks with getting rid of our best current player for players that might not even be good… pathetic

  4. New gm was an astute apprentice to stan bowman. Same dumb ass moves getting zero in return. I'm sure excited for a scrawny offensive defenseman. This is a 10 year rebuild at least.

  5. I'm more excited to watch the hawks fail and still only get the 6th overall next year. Or better yet, Bedard becomes yakupov

  6. They needed the cap space for Duncan Keiths salary. Brutal.

  7. What makes no sense is if your going to trade Debrincat for picks, why wouldnt you ask for Ottawa's first rounder next year instead of this year? Ottawa is still going to be a lottery team and its the Bedard draft.

  8. The GM must have wanted Kane and Toews to move, but they have the no trade and crazy high salary and probably didn't want to. I think they forced his hand to do all of this so they waive their no trade and move on.

  9. Bitter sweet & sour to see Da' Cat go. Moving forward from a winger, we need to rebuild around a center, defense; and obtaining a future goalie. Losing Hagel last year too for a bag of chips was pathetic, players like Hagz & Cat are who we'd hope to of rebuilt around. Five years might've been time to move on, as our Blackhawks are in total rebuild mode. Moving Dach seemed silly, but personally (and even speaking for Cat) was the smart move to do, just have to look towards the future and see what happens, Go Hawks.

  10. Can’t support this team anymore. Please trade Kane and toews so I no longer want to watch

  11. Going to be a long 5 to 10 years with losing hockey. I am not impressed. Should have got at least a 1st rounder, prospect and roster player for Debrincat. You can't build a team just from draft picks. I hope only the best for the Hawks so we will see what else happens.

  12. Kirby Dach didn’t work in Chicago. Then he got hurt…. I think they did very well for him

  13. Chicago management has been telling it's fans to expect a LOSER a team that won't make the playoffs. This is not a good picture because imo there is no such thing as a REBUILD good management continues to rebuild all the time inserting good new blood every year to keep the machine running. They did make an excellent trade getting Romanov because imo Dach is a waste of time a third line player.
They should be trading for first round picks because the FRANCHISE player is there next year Bedard will be an elite player a team can build with for many years.Seth is still young and imo a very good D man don't trade him keep him to play with Romanov.Toews is very expendable but i don't think they get much for him.
Kane is the guy who is an elite player right now and imo has about 3 more really good years left so a serious team should be after Kane and offer some good draft picks back.
IMO that team is MTL a good gamble because MTL is not ready to move into the playoffs so the Hawks might score a good first round pick from them for Kane the problem is the Habs don't hace the cap room but with Price and Weber they shoudl be able to work out something the way the Lightning scammed the salary cap for the past 2-3 years.

  14. This isn't a rebuild after 7 years removed from a Cup, it's the fucking SECOND rebuild. I hope that it's worth the wait. I'm still pissed about Bowman trading Panarin. Him and Kane were magic together and the Blackhawks would be a playoff team every year had they not let him go. I don't care what they had to do to keep Panarin, they should have done it.
