Its been a Rollercoaster since 99 ups downs twists and turns as a fan some years you get to the point of maybe it's time to change my loyalties, but as a fan your fandom won't allow such shenanigans and you strap in for those long rides and games over in the first period.. These past few seasons have been exciting mostly because they hold promise for future seasons after multiple rebuilds it's time to chase the grail and bring lord Stanley home to Buffalo Ny. 1989 – present and close calls. 1976 – 1989 Hometown leaf fan so i know patience lol
So roster is locked in place and Buffalo was bad last year scoring very few goals….so why don’t you install guys who can score in lineup? Peterka is an outstanding two way forward but instead Asplund will play in his spot and go another 45 games zero goals. Fans don’t like scoring goals they just want bums…teams that win cups are usually in top 4 of league in goals scored over last 50 years…to score more goals get more talent in lineup. Sick of non scoring slugs
He coach says he’s going to work with guys to learn to score, just put in Quinn and Peterka in lineup and tell Asplund and Okposo to play 4th line, problem solved…more speed and talent
