What do you think of these line combos?
Putting a speeedy guy like Mikheyev and a skilled forward like Kuzmenko will make every shift from this line exciting!
Perhaps Petey will try the bank pass to Mikheyev often 👀
Great lines, surprised with Petey pairing up with Kuz and Mickey, I actually love the potential that this trio will bring

Oh wow, I was right about them sticking with the pretraining camp lines. They didn't mention the 4th line in the tweet mentioning those lines a couple days ago though… A little surprised that Hoglander isn't playing with the 4th line right away, and that Dickinson is playing middle over Lazar… but I guess they have to try to recoup some kind of value from Dickinson. I hope Hog is going to force his way onto the opening night roster… he gives us better options and skill than Dickinson.
Those pairings with horvat would indicate that boudreau does indeed plan on having 3 scoring lines. I really hope Joshua makes the 4th line flanking Lazar so we can have a checking line and hoglander too. Lazar and Joshua have a bit of offense in them and hogkander too so even they could easily score goals as well. This season looks very promising

Like the lines, just wish we didnt have to rely on Pearson for a 1st line winger. Also, Petey is perfect on Line #2 as he wont need to be responsible for many faceoffs and more of a speedy off the rush line. Sad to see Hogs shipped to Abby but he will give the fans even more excitement this year.
I was hoping to see:
Mikheyev-Petey-Boeser
Kuz-Miller-Podz
Pearson-Horvat-Garland
Joshua-Lazar-Hogs
Lots could change though!
Mikheyev's speed will allow Petey to think 1 step faster than before and Petey will naturally get the puck to Kuz in front of the net. More goals are expected this season from this combination if this experiment works out.
I watched Horvat in Penticton years ago. He was not slow.
