from what i heard from icethetics the red and gold represent the lights of Vegas and the Vegas type comes from the Excalibur club and the numbers come from the STARDUST hotel

When I watched the Icethetics video on the Knights new R.R. Jersey its more of a city jersey. The Red & Gold stripes are represent as Vegas' neon lights and the text & number font are for tributing 2 famous casinos; the "Vegas" text is for the "Excalibur" casino sign and the number font is for defunct "Stardust" casino demolished in 2007
The numbers are the same font as the old Stardust Casino from the old Vegas days…

I think if you're going to call a series of jerseys Reverse Retro then the jerseys need to fit that description in some way, this is neither and like someone else has commented it's more to do with the neon lights in Las Vegas and the old hotel sign, so this is definitely more of a 'City' series jersey. The jersey in itself is ok and I will be buying it…..
The number font looks like something straight out of saved by the bell and not a big fan of the diagonal text logo trend

I’m very underwhelmed that this isn’t a throwback to any jersey but the city itself. This could have been an alternate or city jersey and they could have thrown back to the Wranglers for this one season.
I feel like the horizontal font logo jerseys are going to be more common and personally I’m not hyped about it at all.
It is not a throwback to the gamblers the wranglers or the Thunder.

its suppose to be a dedication to the nightlife in Vegas and 2 Hotels The Excalibur hotel font from the Vegas diagonal line and the number font is dedicated to a former Hotel and Casino Named the Stardust from 1958-2006

Neil icethetics posted this jersy and san jose jerseys yesterday. I was shocked you mailed the jerseys design to the tee. (except the stripes). Way to go calling that out, but i saw the preview of the sharks jersey and love that they are going back to the original teal and not turquoise. As for the Knights i feel Calgary blasty vibes ? Anyhow till next video the reverse retros are coming out. More to come we will find out soon what teams are going to the 90s jerseys and what jerseys go for the 70s type jerseys. I found out some jerseys are not doing a history jerseys. I wish Montreal brought back les blues and Toronto do a st pats jersey. That will be interesting!
