I’m of the opinion that winning and making the payoffs makes the team and the individuals on the team better. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Sharks make the playoffs this year and I don’t believe it would do them more harm than good. Thank you for the great video.

I just want em to really just bite the bullet for the next season or two to get nice prospects to work with.
I really don't care that some don't want to go through a rebuild, but that's part of the process.
I just don't see how the team can do a full rebuild with some of the contracts they have, you would have to give other teams high draft picks to take those contracts and even then retain some salary. I feel it's a retool and there just going to have to deal with those contracts till they're nearly finished, hopefully during that time they can keep piling up draft picks and building up the prospect pool. I know most are tired of DW but I still have faith in him, he kept the team good for so long and while a full rebuild is overdue (which again I don't think you can do with some of those contracts) I believe he can make them good for a long time again.
Barabanov, Balcers and Dahlen are the most interesting to look at imo

Because of the division, there really is always a chance to get to the playoffs. But still it means few teams has to suck more than SJ and that is just sad situation to be as a Sharks fan. Besides, you did not mention the one big problem that there is, Bob Boughner really is not head coach-material. Last year the whole system leaked all the way: exiting from own zone, distances between F and D, PP, PK. All that mess did cause the blame that was put on Martin Jones shoulders. If the whole system is still floated we'll see deja vu from last year. What gives me optimism? EK65 getting his game back together, Hertl is still dominant player while healthy. Ferraro has sky as limit (ok, probably that is far-reached) and BB88 is something special to watch every time. Counting the days…

so many players underperformed last year. If those key players actually live up to their potential who knows. I am always unrealistically optimistic, and I'm not changing that attitude for the time being.
Yes as a lifelong sharks fan having watched them play at the cow palace, it will be a a few ruff years for sure. I'm going to be the bad guy here but dw tied up way to much of the cap on the back end. That being said it's not even shutdown defence. I knew it when we signed EK. my prediction is those high paid defensemen will try to do more then they should and we will see what happens. I hope I am wrong.

Agree on all that you say. Part of the fanbase doesn’t like to hear the truth and are in denial where this team is, just like the people leading this team…

They are rebuilding, how many changes and players that are new? Do you see Brent burns and karrolson in the season preview? They seem to have berly kept Kevin Logan and temo… so yea, I think burns is going to go just give them time because if the sharks change all there players at once there fan base may go drastically lower. So keeping burns Karlsson and Logan were kinda key to the rebuild so they keep some fans while they actually rebuild or change the dam team! 🤔
Ps. I ment do you see karrolson and burns playing like they use to? Not that they are missing but changes and rebuilding seems to be majorly going on.
