Carolina needs to add a top tier scoring winger / forward – Laine type of the Blue Jackets .
Once Carolina resigned Jesperi to a extension during the year last year the writing was on the wall for V. Trocheck. Necas needs a change of scenary it has never really worked for him in Carolina.
They are in a win now window and they have to make a move to put them above or right in line with the top teams in the NHL.
2023 Turbo, AHO, Pesce are all up for new deals and all three are UFA's so over the next two years big decisions are coming and changes are coming to Carolina . However Jordan Staal and his declining play is gone after 2023 season and so is the contract for Jake Gardiner as well unless hopefully Gardiner is traded or bought out before then.
