Nice to hear the Kampfer love. Wish there was more of it when he was here sitting behind Clifton on the depth chart.
The 4th line is no longer a physical grinding line on most teams. Yes, there are a handful of teams that still employ this tactic of using physicality to tire opponents and wear down the defense. But over the past decade, they've been phased out, and teams are trying for youth and speed on the 4th line as an alternative. Look at the Florida Panthers, who won the division going away last year. They had former 30 goal scorer Patrick Hornqvist, who has scored 20+ goals 8 times, along with young players Cole Schwindt and Ryan Lomberg a their 4th line. I think that we will keep Trent Frederick as a physical presence, and perhaps have Nosek and Studnicka by the end of the season. But we will have to contend with injuries no doubt, so we might even be going deeper into the depth chart.

Wonder of they consider Craig Smith for the Bergeron Line, while Marchand is out? It would allow DeBrusk to play his natural LW for a while. Zacha would then play with Coyle out of the gate and get time to build some chemistry there.
