It was not ok for the Ottawa Senators to play in a 9000-10,000 seated building Civic centre now (TD Place) yet its ok for the Coyotes to play in a temporary university arena of 5000!? Your F n kidding me! Just move the FREAKIN team to Quebec City!!! The have a fairly brand new building the (Videotron Centre) with 18,000 capacity ready too go that would sell out every night, Plus move Detroit back into the central division so that they don’t have to do a Divisional realignment again it makes more sense!

The Monument in Rapid City, South Dakota seats more people than this arena. That building is the home rink for the Coyotes ECHL team. Move the team to Quebec already

The NHL wouldn’t allow the Islanders to play a full season in a refurbished 13,900 seat Nassau Coliseum until the second pandemic shortened season in 2020-21. It wasn’t fair to the team and the fans. Barclays Center (not built for hockey) only had a 15,800 seat capacity for hockey. The coliseum was rocking in the 2021 playoffs because Long Island is where the fan base lives. Not NYC. The NHL wants a team in a market that doesn’t give a damn about them in the slightest. It’s a joke.

I live in St.John’s Newfoundland which is the home of the ECHL team the Newfoundland Growlers. The stadium we have has a capacity of 7,000.
Gary 'Batman' is actually embarrassing the NHL at this point. I cannot believe that a professional sports team is being allowed to get away with ALL this. It's ok to admit defeat and just relocate the team.

im still confused why the coyotes cant play at the veterans memorial arena in downtown phoenix for the interim… seats 13,000 people… I'm born and raised in Phoenix and nobody seems to care about this team, I wish they would just move somewhere with a real fan base for the sake of the players. The cardinals play in Glendale too, but always have a packed arena, so saying Glendale is the problem isn't really true- people just don't care.
Houston or Kansas City would fix this whole situation
total joke; a 2nd team in Winnipeg would draw better lol the rink in Tucson holds more approx 7000 and it draws about 3k per game; but tickets are 20 to 30 bucks only
