Has Shannon ever done a video outlining the video equipment he uses? I realize it's comparatively minimal (e.g., camera, whiteboard), but I'm curious as to the type of cameras he's used over the years, what he's using now, etc.

Wheeler is washed…..time for a change. His leadership has always been in question. This will be better for the Jets in the long run.

It's a Shame McKinnon cant ever play a full season. But if he can average 70 games a year, then he should get 10 million…..but if he ends up @ 13 million (or whatever is higher than McDavid), than I'm not sure that would work.

While I don't like the thought of a $10 million cap hit for MacKinnon, the cap is going up and it won't look bad towards the end of the deal. I am worried the Avs will lose Makar or Byram, and others are going to be looking to get paid like Toews. We will see, management has done well the past few years and got us a cup so I'm hopeful.

Saying Blake isn't the Captain, that's a statement by the coach. You can figure out leadership during the season but don't act like you just did this cause it's just business as usual. "He's not captain but nothing is wrong here." YOU took the coaching job for a reason. And you obviously are making an immediate change. It's confounding.

Honestly, I would like to see Ehlers with a letter on his jersey. He's not really close to being the top scorer and I don't think he ever will be, but he's such an important energy guy who has a knack for scoring at the most critical of moments. It's the sort of thing where when the team is down, just getting the puck on his stick is enough to hear the crowd getting excited.

Being stripped of a captaincy but not your locker is way worse of a situation than a captaincy being vacated via trade. The effect is different as well; it's like telling the team "HE'S not the solution to the problem we face," compared to telling the team, "You ALL are the solution to the problem we face."

Seems like this move points at him being the main issue? Or it sends a message to everyone that it is time to wake up and the time is now, not in January and if they all are being asked to be more of leaders vs put it on one guy can be good. Just don't make Helly the captain LOL!

MacKinnon is overrated af. His defensive numbers are very bad. Also his shooting% is barrly over 10. He is just good skater and playmaker. 8th in tve league

Now that's just stupid. In my opinion they should get banned from NHL for some certain period of time. Unless player is truly unable to make it to the training facility for some weird reason. Just to say no and not showing isn't good enough….

NHL captains are two different kinds of guys: they either are outspoken and fiery or they lead by example. They are either Shane Doan or Jonathan Toews.

As someone who played at a high level for many years, for the life of me I don't understand why a Temporal would NOT choose a Captain. It makes no sense no matter how they try to rationalise it. It shouldn't go by default to the best player but rather the one whom team mates trust and have the most respect! Aldredsson and Karlsson are good examples. Should you chat with the players, Spezza was the one who led the team on and off the ice. Karlsson is/was only interested in himself on and off the ice. He didn't mind losing and was far more con earned about his hair and clothes.
