    They won't even make the playoffs. No Grit to protect the new goaltenders. They have not addressed the major problem – NO HEART!!.

    mete signing makes no sense, seems like a waste of a roster spot, get literally any other defenseman that could DEFEND

    I expect Dubas and Shanahan to be gone. They clearly can’t build a winning team in Toronto and the past 6 seasons prove that. As for Keefe I am not sure what will happen with him. If we don’t win any rounds once again, Matthews will be on his way out. (As a Leafs fan I would be thrilled if he left.

    Leafs don't hit teams in the playoffs, they bump into them. Big reason they lose in game 7 is they receive all the hits in a series and get whore down.

    Don't care about regular season results other than making the playoffs. No excuses this year, if another 1st round exit happens then Dubas, Shanny, Keefe as well as many others need to go.

    Making the playoffs and going out in the first round is finally getting under the skin of Leaf fans. If the fans would quit packing the building until the team hires people who actually know how to put together a team that can at least get to the semi-finals nothing is going to change Toronto has lots of money but with salary caps, they need to start using their money to put people in place in management etc who know how to build a winning team If they don't they will continue to be the Toronto Next Years.

    Toronto the worst team in physical play in last 5 yrs in hits. Also lost 2 Russians will hurt, with team the entire league says easiest team to play against!

    Who cares what the leafs do in the regular season. In the playoffs they will bust like every other year. Even Las Vegas bets against them getting out of the first round

    The only mark of success for this team next season is winning Round 1 of the playoffs. (Assuming they even make it to the playoffs)

    Toronto’s problems are between the ears. For some reason this team collapses at the worst moments (doesn’t matter who the players are)
    They should bring in some serious professional sports psychologists, I’m not kidding, the environment in Toronto is different

    Ah, the Leafs…..the thing about it now is…..if this were the 'Salutegate' era Leafs still, they'd have NO shot at making the playoffs at all. But NOW they're a team that makes the playoffs each year with relative ease. The problem now is…actually going further along in the playoffs. This group keeps fumbling opportunities to make a deep run. If that happens AGAIN with this group in 2023….oh boy. Changes DEFINITELY will happen for sure.

    Honestly, I'm just not sold right now on the Leafs. Primarily because I don't know if they've solidified their goaltending now. Samsonov & Murray seem sort of like underwhelming replacements for Jack Campbell. But, who knows, maybe Samsonov will have an underrated yet solid season in goal. I dunno about Murray, can he even stay healthy enough anymore…? Bit of a gamble for sure. The Leafs somehow though might still finish in the Top 3 in the Atlantic again. But none of that really matters, what DOES matter is….is this team actually going to make a deep playoff run for once…..?

    I….I just don't know. Can't say I'm really sold on them doing it. Guess they'll just have to prove us all wrong, eh? Yeah….whether or not that even happens, well, just remains to be seen.

    Can y'all tell how 'excited' I sound about the Leafs this season…? Lol 😬

    Traveled 1,800 kilometers and visited the Hockey Hall of Fame last Saturday; bought a new LEAFS jersey hoping to return this season and see a game.

    Toronto has an albatross around their neck called John Tavares. JT is a great player but he is NOT worth 11 million. He is worth 7 something. 4 million is tied up paying him which could be better spent elsewhere. Dubas has thrown away most of their draft picks and gotten nothing back of any value. The Nick Foligno signing was among the worst. I hated that signing from the start. The Leafs are worse this year. No Campbell. No Spezza. No Mikeyhev. We previously lost Hyman. Lost Brown. Lost Johannsen. 3 great players gone these past few seasons. We got Bunting last year. overall though I see the Leafs getting steadily worse on paper. I see Nylander bolting next year for elsewhere regardless of how bad or good they do.

    Born and raised in Toronto, I’m legitly hoping for another 1st round exit. That way Fubas/Shattyhan are done, we trade the big 4, tear it all down, and start fresh. Hell, move the team to Markham. Toronto doesn’t deserve a hockey team.
