Talk, hype, it all goes away when you get punched in the mouth by the defending Stanley Cup Champions. This isn't the regular season, the Panthers can't be falling behind in games and thinking they can come back and win. Most comeback wins in the regular season, you can't do that in the playoffs.

as a hockey fan from Canada for my whole life it is time to call a spade a spade, The NHL has been catering to the Lightning for 3 years now. I do not know if the owner of the Lightning caught Bettman in stockings or something but the Lightning have been on the power play for 3 years running now???You watch a Tampa game and they will be on the power play all night. The Toronto series down a goal , facing elimination in the 3rd period, guess what? yep you guessed it 2 man power play for over a minute to make sure to tie the game up, and not be eliminated, and no I do not cheer for the leafs, it was 2 HORRENDOUS calls, now last night a crosscheck from behind into the boards got a 2 MINUTE PENALTY??? Whst a fkn joke call,. And further evidence KIllorn and Paquette running ppl into the boards from behind for years unpunished???? Paquette went to Montreal and lost his protection from the refs and was soon not even in the league anymore, This is downright garbage, the league is trying its best to have a dynasty team, the calls have been a joke in favour of Tampa for 3 years running. Scripted outcomes like the NFL has become more of a thing with Bettman in charge.

Talk about choking! 3 goals in 3 games. The best Panthers look like they’re on opium. Passes out of reach or in the skates without any reasons, forced plays, shooting wide on occasions that would change the game. Missing open nets. All kind of bad stuff. It’s hard to believe how bad Huberdeau and Ekblad are right now, Ekblad looking like he’s possessed by Petry. Weirdly, Giroux is awful. Bob needs to go. He’s showing year after year he’s no playoffs goalie.
